Aggie is the artist and designer behind Peggy and Polly.

Aggie has always loved art and painting for as long as she can remember, and is a multidisciplinary artist. From oil and acrylic paints on canvas practised in her still life lessons starting from the age of 9, to using graphite in life drawing classes; from experimenting with block printing in high school before really getting to know and falling in love with watercolour and its delicate nature and versatility in layering.

Watercolour is her current preferred medium, and was used to create the majority of the artwork you see on this site.

Apart from art, she also loves love. She will cry watching wedding scenes in movies, and she still tears up watching her clients’ wedding videos, every single time. There is just something so magical about weddings to her, and combining her passion for art with her helpless love of weddings, Peggy and Polly was born, it was simply her true calling.

She believes there is nothing better in the world, than creating artwork for an occasion so significant, at a time that is most joyous in her clients’ lives. Each piece is unique and cherished by the guests that receive them.

“Peggy and Polly” is named after Aggie’s dear mum Polly, who without her Aggie might not have received the nurture and opportunities that she did growing up, and her very much loved but naughty first Italian greyhound, Pegasus.
